Bright Leaf Mission

Greetings,​

Bright Leaf Senior Resources is a local nonprofit based in Northglenn Colorado dedicated to assisting senior citizens with home maintenance and accessible renovations. We've partnered with community contractors and church organizations to offer these services and referrals.

Our Mission: Founded to address the significant need for assistance among seniors, we've helped many, but the demand is overwhelming. Recently, a social media post asking for home repair assistance resulted in an influx of heartbreaking requests.

Our Process: We prescreen candidates to prioritize those with severe needs. Volunteers visit projects to gather more information. Despite our efforts, our limited resources and funding can't meet the growing demand.

Heart-Wrenching Stories:

  • John and Martha: Seniors with serious health conditions and high medical bills, living in an unlivable home.

  • Judy: 65, disabled, unable to afford a furnace or repair extensive water damage.

  • Pat's Parents: Aged 71 and 77, dealing with dementia and severe arthritis, living with unsafe flooring.

  • Paula: Living with heart disease, no family support, needs wall repairs and an accessible ramp.

Call to Action: We need community support and volunteers to continue our mission. Your generosity will improve the lives of countless seniors in Westminster, Thornton, Northglenn, Broomfield, and Denver.
